Tarragon is a perennial herb that thrives near water. It has a woody stem that reaches to about 1 meter (3 feet) high. The leaves are silver-green and covered with fine silky hairs and pale yellow flowers.
Skin: Fresh leaves of Tarragon herb and the essential oil extracted from those leaves are said to contain eugenol compound. This compound is responsible for the antibacterial properties and is popularly known as an anesthetic with pain suppressing qualities.
Body: Tarragon essential oil is used as an effective emmenagogue in regulating blocked menstruation, treating abdominal pains, strengthening the immune system, inhibiting microbes causing body odor and for stimulating the entire system with the presence of vitamins and certain other phytonutrients
Product Color: Colorless to pale yellow clear liquid
Caution: Avoid during pregnancy and with sensitive skin. It can cause possible sensitization in some individuals, so use in very low concentration only. It is important to note that all Essential Oils are extremely concentrated in nature and if to be applied on the skin or body, should always be diluted upto a maximum dosage of 4% in a suitable carrier oil.
