Product Description:  Jamrosa oil is extracted through steam distillation of the highly aromatic Jamrosa grass. Jamarosa is a hybrid of two grasses: Palmarosa and Citronella. It is commonly used as a natural fragrance compound.

Jamarosa Essential oil has herbaceous yet sweet aroma and is often used in perfumery as an alternative to Rose. It has an uplifting aroma and has been used in perfume industry for ages. It has Rosy, Citrusy, Spicy and Grassy fragrance all in one fragrance. It is a popular ingredient in traditional incense sticks and insect repellents.

Common Uses:

Healthy skin: Jamarosa essential oil is known for stimulating cell growth and helps in repairing damaged cells. The antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties help in combating infections which inflate skin problems.

Anti-aging: Jamarosa oil is known for reducing over production of sebum and minimizes acne. It is often used to restore dull looking skin, fights wrinkles and signs of aging.

Calms Mind: Pleasant, energising, and refreshing aroma of Jamarosa oil stimulates nerves, calms the mind and has positive effects on the limbic system of the body. This part of the brain is responsible for controlling our feelings, thoughts and behavioural responses.

Insect Repellent: Being an offspring of the natural repellent, Jamarosa oil is effective in combating harmful insects like mosquitoes and bed bugs.

Reduces anxiety: The slightly fruity and rosy aroma of Jamarosa oil has uplifting and calming effects on the mind. This in turn helps in reducing insomnia, anxiety, and fatigue.

Blends well with: PalmarosaGeraniumRose Geraniumginger and Juniperpatchouli 

Caution: Avoid during pregnancy and with sensitive skin. It can cause possible sensitization in some individuals, so use in very low concentration only. It is important to note that all Essential Oils are extremely concentrated in nature and if to be applied on the skin or body, should always be diluted upto a maximum dosage of 4% in a suitable carrier oil.
