Description: Cashew Nut oil is obtained from the cashew nuts of the Cashew Tree. It is indigenous to Northern Brazil however it is now able to found growing in several exotic regions around the world, including India, Africa, and parts of Asia. The nuts produced by this tree are found at the bottom of the sweet fruit called cashew apple. This oil has abundance of vitamins, which includes vitamins A, D, and E. Additionally it is abundant with protein and fatty acids.
Moisturises skin: Cashew Nut oil provides smooth texture to the skin by removing the dead skin layer on the skin. High content of unsaturated fatty acids in this oil helps in retaining moisture in the skin. This oil has low viscosity which means it spreads easily. It helps to prevent moisture from escaping our skin because of the skin barrier enhancement provided by the fatty acids in it, chief among them being oleic acid.
Cashew nut oil can also be used as a light skin conditioner to keep the skin smooth and prevent cracks that develop as a result of dry, cold weather. It also helps to improve skin complexion.
