It also blends well with citrus, woody and floral families of essential oils. This oil is very helpful for use in blends that are intended to help relieve pain.
Skin: Clove oil has the ability to impede the growth of bacteria Staphylococcus aureus which is associated with the growth of acne. The high levels of anti-oxidants in clove bud oil can help prevent signs of aging, fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin.
Body: Clove Bud oil can help alleviate pain in sore muscles due to its anti-inflammatory properties. When mixed with carrier oil and massaged on body, it can help ease with the inflammation that triggers the pain. It can also help relieve pain associated with headaches.
