Description

Blue lotus botanically named Nymphaeacaerulea is a sacred flower that is renowned for spiritual growth, rejuvenation, clairvoyance, healing & balancing. It was the most important cultivated (ritual) plant of ancient Egypt and commonly known as Bluewater lily, Blue lily of the Nile, Egyptian lily.

Historically, Blue Lotus has been found in India, also, where it is associated as a hypnotic and ethereal tonic with Krishna mythology. It is extracted through solvent extraction process as Blue Lotus flowers are too delicate to be distilled by steam since intense heat destroys the petals.
